NSW Nearshore Waves Program

In late 2019, as part of the NSW Nearshore Waves Program, 7 Spotter Platforms spanning 2,000 km of coastline have been deployed along the New South Wales coast in Australia.

Dr. Mike Kinsela, a Senior Scientist on the NSW Coastal and Marine Science Team, conducts an analysis of the wave observations and modeling capabilities linked to these systems to improve understanding and management of coastal hazard risks.
