The procurement of new marine technology from Sofar Ocean will help local conservationists monitor how warming oceans are affecting the marine environment around the globe.

In partnership with Sofar Ocean, the Pacific Islands Conservation Initiative has deployed Sofar Ocean's Spotters along the coast of Rarotonga Island in the Pacific in April of 2021.
